About ConsentScan

ConsentScan is a web-based service provided by Cycubix Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in Ireland. By using consentscan.io you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What the service does

ConsentScan performs automated scans of websites to identify cookies set before a user provides consent and to assess compliance with GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive. Scan results are informational only and do not constitute legal advice.

Acceptable use

You may use ConsentScan to scan domains you own or have authorisation to test. You must not:

• Use the service to scan domains without authorisation from the domain owner.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or overload our infrastructure.
• Use automated scripts to trigger bulk scans beyond the limits set by the API.
• Misrepresent scan results or use them to mislead third parties.

Disclaimer of warranties

ConsentScan is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantee that scan results are accurate, complete, or legally sufficient. Cookie compliance is a complex legal area; always consult a qualified privacy lawyer for legal advice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cycubix Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, ConsentScan. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed €100.

Intellectual property

All content on consentscan.io — including scan algorithms, reports, blog articles, and branding — is the property of Cycubix Ltd and may not be reproduced without written permission, except for brief quotations with attribution.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
